Culinary Adventure Itinerary

 

15 June 2014 - Day 1

Arrival into Florence Airport between 14.30 – 17.00 pm.

20.00 pm - Optional Welcome Reception at Bar Visconti – light fare, “Jet Lag” cocktails, meet and greet guests and guides. Dinner on your own.

14.00 pm - Activities on Your Own – Choice of spa treatments at Essere Spa, biking or hiking around the estate, painting class with a local resident artist, or Italian language class. Or, simply lie by the pool and soak up the Tuscan Sun. 

20.00 pm - Chef’s Dinner on the terrace at Ristorante Tosca with Chef Daniele Sera & Team.

16 June, 2014 - Day 2

8.30 am - Breakfast at Ristorante Tosca with formal introductions of the Castello di Casole and the Farmhouse Inn Culinary Guides, Daniele Sera and Steve Litke.

10.00 am - Tour of Castello di Casole Hotel and Estate.

12.30 pm - An al fresco lunch at a luxurious Farmhouse at Castello di Casole. Enjoy locally inspired dishes and wine from the estate's vineyards.

14.00 pm - Activities on Your Own – Choice of Spa Treatments at Essere Spa, Biking or Hiking around the estate, Painting Class with a local resident artist, or Italian Language Class. Or just lie by the pool and soak up the Tuscan Sun.

20.00 pm - Chef’s Dinner on the terrace at Ristorante Tosca with Chef Daniele Sera & Team.

 

17 June 2014 - Day 3

7.00 am – Optional Pilates Class.

8.00 am - Breakfast at Tosca on your own.

9.30 am - Departure for Guided Tour of Siena with Lunch at a local restaurant or stay and enjoy the day at Castello di Casole.

6.30 pm – Cooking demonstration class with Steve Litke at Castello di Casole's winery kitchen. Dinner to follow.

10.00 pm - Optional nightcaps at Bar Visconti.

 

18 June 2014 - Day 4

7.00 am – Optional Pilates Class.

8.00 am - Breakfast at Tosca on your own.

8.30 am - Depart to Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance, with a choice of two guided tours with Lunch:

1. Shopping, Italian-Style

2. History & Cultural Tour

20.00 pm - Family-Style Sunset Dinner on the Ristorante Tosca Terrace. 

 

June 19, 2014 - Day 5

7.00 am – Optional Pilates Class.

8.00 am - Breakfast at Tosca on your own.

The concierge will arrange for individual tours of nearby medieval towns.

12pm – Pizza-making class at Pazzia.

7.30 pm - Depart to nearby, local restaurants. Dine around in smaller groups - 3 different local purveyors will be chosen.

 

June 20, 2014 - Day 6

Breakfast and Transfers to Florence Airport.
