From Florence Airport (Aeroporto Firenze Peretola) to Castello di Casole
1. Turn right at the traffic light at the airport exit.
2. Take this road, A11/E76, for approximately 4.2 km. Along this highway, you will see a large blue IKEA on your left-hand side.
3. After 4.2 km, exit on the right heading toward A1/E35 BOLOGNA, ROMA.
4. Upon exiting, you will travel an additional 1 km to a tollbooth. Get a ticket.
5. After getting the ticket, head toward ROMA.
6. Take A1/E35 ROMA and continue along this highway for 15 km.
7. Exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA and pay the toll. Toll fee should be between E 1.10 – 3.00 depending on the vehicle. Prices may vary.
8. After the tollbooth, there is a roundabout. Take the first exit on your right in the direction of COLLE VAL D’ELSA, POGGIBONSI, and GROSSETO-FI-SI.
9. Continue on this four-lane highway for 41 km.
10. Exit at COLLE VAL D’ELSA SUD. NOTE: Do NOT take the Nord Exit.
11. At the stop sign at the highway exit, turn right.
12. After about 50 meters, you will approach your first of three roundabouts. Continue straight in the direction of SP541 GROSSETO, which is indicated at the top of the roundabout sign. AEROPORTO FIRENZE PERETOLA CASTELLO DI CASOLE (CETENA)
13. After the first roundabout, you will continue straight for 1.6 km and approach your second roundabout. Again, continue straight in the direction of SP541 GROSSETO, which is indicated at the top of the roundabout sign.
14. After the second roundabout, you will continue for 1.4 km and approach the third and last roundabout. Again, continue in the direction of SP541 GROSSETO, which is indicated at the top of the roundabout sign.
15. After the third roundabout, you will travel approximately 1.1 km continuing in the direction of GROSSETO and will approach a little two-lane bridge. Veer right over the two-lane bridge and continue straight along this road for roughly 7 km. NOTE: Immediately after crossing the bridge, there is a sign on your right for Casole d’Elsa. Do NOT turn. Continue along SP541.
16. After 7 km, there will be a TOTAL gas station on your left and a small bar/restaurant on your right called La Speranza. Continue straight for 0.7 km after La Speranza to the property entrance. NOTE: After La Speranza, Do NOT turn right toward Casole d’Elsa.
17. Continuing straight after La Speranza for 0.7 km, you will see some horses and a little farm on your left. There will be a COMUNE DI CASOLE D’ELSA BENVENUTI sign on your right. Twenty meters after this sign, there is a gravel road on your righthand side and a small AZIENDA AGRICOLA DEL CASTELLO DI CASOLE sign. Turn right onto this road. NOTE: If you pass the green sign for Molino d’Elsa Pizzeria, you’ve gone too far.
18. Take this road for about 3.3 km and follow the white signs for CETENA. This road changes from a gravel road to a paved one and then back to a gravel road. You will pass LA CASA on your left, SAN GIUSEPPE on your right, then SAN REGOLO on your right. Finally, UFFICI AMMINISTRATIVI is on your right. After this building, there is an intersection. Turn left and you will arrive at CETENA and the concierge office.

N.B. Italian highways are patrolled for speed by radar detectors hidden alongside the highways as well as underneath overpasses. To avoid traffic tickets, be aware of these. Speed limits are posted along all streets and highways.
Also, there is one toll on the way to the property. There is someone at the tollbooth most of the time. However, in the case of early or late arrivals, you may want to make sure that you have some change before leaving. When paying tolls, make sure that you get into the lanes with the workers or machines that accept coins or euros. Do NOT go to the Telepass lane.
