Castello di Casole offers the rare and remarkable opportunity to take authentic art classes with a local Italian artist. Eva Munarin, a graduate of the Ceramic School of Montolupo Florentino, practiced watercolor painting before becoming a ceramist, and now offers painting and ceramic classes for lovers of Italian artwork. Her pieces are hand-decorated and made with traditional artisan procedures, such as the Maiolica technique with Ingobbio (liquid clay) finish or covered with colored Cristallina (transparent glaze). Beyond Italian art classes, Eva offers her Tuscan-style art pieces at her studio located in nearby Mensano – a special memento from your vacation in Tuscany.
